Milho verde

Milho Verde & Capivari Waterfalls

Waterfall Tempo Perdido

The Tempo Perdido Waterfall has a drop of approximately 25 meters in height and forms a well that varies from 1 to 2 meters in depth.

Legend has it that it’s called Cachoeira do Tempo Perdido because anyone who enters it leaves in another dimension…

In addition to the impressive visual beauty, the charm of the waterfall is in the sand bank that the visitor can access behind the fall and that gives you the feeling of being on the beach.

Waterfall Moinho

The name of the waterfall (Mill) refers to the grinding of grains that took place in the two small houses that adds to the beautiful scenery. Using the power of the water, the mills use to make cornmeal and cassava flour for sale in local shops.

Waterfall Lageado
Waterfall Canelau

With a lake that forms from the waterfall, Cachoeira do Canelau is on the way to the district of Capivari, a few kilometers from Milho Verde.

The presence of tourists in the region is low, perhaps due to the lack of parking close to the site. To catch a glimpse of this landscape almost untouched by humans, you need to leave your car somewhere on the side of the road and then walk down the trail for about 20 minutes.
